In Network Coverage

Santa Monica Speaks is a participating provider with Kaiser Permanente Insurance.

We do advise that you check with your individual plan regarding specific coverage for speech and language therapy services.

Out of Network Coverage

If we are not in network with your insurance provider, we will collect your payment at the time of service. We will then provide you with a medical superbill. The superbill is a standard form which health plans use to process claims. It lists the codes that insurance carriers require to process your claim. This includes a numerical code representing the diagnosis (ICD-10) code and procedure (CPT) codes to describe the visit type. You submit your superbill to your insurer for reimbursement.

Looking for assistance with this process? We recommend using the app Reimbursify - just upload the superbills along with your insurance information, and their team will help file your claim and handle any issues.

Our office does not guarantee any form of reimbursement from your insurance company. In addition, your insurance carrier may not reimburse the full amount for services provided by our office.

Westside Regional Center

We are contracted providers with the Westside Regional Center for both evaluation and treatment.

Am I Covered?

We are happy to provide you with the pricing and CPT codes that will be used for your assessment or treatment sessions, to help you determine if services will be covered for both in-network and out-of-network insurance providers. Contact us to obtain the codes to help determine what speech-language costs will be with your insurance plan.
